Grading Trump’s Presidency:
A Progress Report
 
DUE: Monday, May 6
 
We have spent the past few weeks discussing the Executive Branch and the presidency, in addition to the most recent presidential election. While it is too soon to evaluate Donald Trump’s presidency from a historical perspective, we can try to assess his first years in office and report on his accomplishments and failures.
 
For this project, you will create a Report Card for Trump’s first two years in office that includes the following:

• 1-page report of President Trump’s domestic policies/accomplishments/failures (economy, tax overhaul, education, civil rights, healthcare, immigration, etc.).

 

• 1-page report of President Trump’s foreign policies/accomplishments/failures (Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, North Korea, Iran, Paris Accord, etc.).

 

• 1-page report of President Trump's key cabinet members  and executive department policies/accomplishments/failures.

 

• Brief summary/conclusion that gives an overall evaluation of Trump’s first two years as president.
