On Friday, November 7, students from my AP US History class and Historical Research class visited the New-York Historical Society to participate in a program called "Being a Historian," which allowed students to experience the kind of work that historians do, from examining an artifact to analyzing a painting to draw conclusions about the past. The presentation was followed by a tour of the museum and a visit to Shake Shack.
